Changes to Sign In and Sign Out Sheets
Providers – you will be receiving a notice regarding upcoming changes to sign in/sign out sheets. As of July 1, 2012, you will be required to use a standardized form. This decision was the result of a collaboration between the Early Childhood Services Bureau, Quality Assurance/Child Care Licensing, and CACFP.
You may start using the new sheets now, but are not required until 7/1/2012. Please call us with questions!
Payment Delay
We have received notice that about 20% of state payments processed yesterday are experiencing a 1-day delay, and should arrive on Saturday instead of Friday this week.
DEAP CCR&R and Early Childhood Services Bureau – Fiscal apologizes for the delay.

Invoices, Part II
Just a reminder to child care providers that families receiving the scholarship pay ONE copay per month. The copay amount is listed on both the certification plan that you receive once the family is authorized, and also on the invoice that you receive monthly.
For example, if a family has a copay of $10 and 3 children in your care, their copay is $10. Do not charge the copay per child.
Since we’re on the topic of copays, it’s worth mentioning that any payment you receive from a family must first be applied toward the copay. Example: a family’s copay is $100 and they owe an additional $175 in over-and-above charges. They pay you $100. That means they still owe you the over-and-above charges, but their copay is satisfied for the month. Any charges beyond copays are the responsibility of the provider to collect.

At this time, we do not have any further information, but we will be letting you know as soon as we hear the decision!
